haus gables was designed by Jennifer Bonner. it was Built in Atlanta, GA, 2018.

i designed the landscape based on the angular interior and exterior architectural elements. jennifer suggested i use “spiky” plants - that was her only request. the limited budget and small site provided an opportunity to go big or go home.from this i designed a xeriscape landscape that maintains itself - requiring no additional irrigation or watering costs. local georgia marble was used for the walking path and landscape mulch. this material is customary to construction sites and nostalgic of the neo-classical columns of southern architecture. the size of marble shifts from small chips for walking on, to larger pieces to maintain the landscape beds.

haus gables was featured in several renowned architecture magazines in 2019, including architect magazine, dezeen, designboom and dwell.
